September is calling us back into the deliberate craft of the scene. This is Scene-tember, Sexual Scene Month, where we treat the D|s scene as Libertine Art: something that can be planned, primed, elevated, and savored.

After our creation and practice of D|s-M for many years, we have found a way to elevate your dynamics. We will give you a taste of what’s in store this month.

For now, this sets the atmosphere and puts workable outlines in your hands so you can start scene-ing better this month, maybe even this week.

There’s a true erotic art to the D|s Scene.

A scene is not something that simply “happens.” In a D|s-M marriage, it is a living artwork the Dom designs, and the submissive offers herself, the canvas, into. The Libertine does not rush the banquet; she or he seasons it. Scene-tember is our month to practice that art deliberately.

Types of Scenes D|s-M Couples Can Create

A quick taste of the menu (full taxonomy and examples in the deep-dive):

• Protocol / Service scenes — posture, speech, ritual tasks, being His instrument.
• Sensation / Temperature scenes — wax, ice, feathers, impact, clamps, beads.
• Power / Objectification scenes — “being His tool,” inspection, use, ownership language.
• Furniture / Position scenes — chair, edge, wall, floor as co-conspirators.
• Priming / Opening scenes — body prep, genital priming, plugs, clamps… no full sex required; the point is readiness and headspace.
• Ritual / Seasonal scenes — Mabon gratitude, Harvest Moon claiming, pirate plunder, kitty heat.

How to Create Them · How to Make Them Better · How to Elevate Them (Libertine)

The Dom plans. He chooses the container, the arc, the tools, the words, the aftercare. He decides what “better” looks like tonight — slower, filthier, more precise, more worshipful, more objectifying.

Both prepare. Dom: clear head, clear space, tools laid out, intention set. Sub: body clean and soft, mind emptied of the day, willingness offered. A five-minute mutual check-in (“What do you need? What is off-limits tonight?”) is Libertine hygiene.

Elevate like a Libertine: Skill (know your tools and her body), Intention (every touch has a why), Presence (phones away, eyes on her, breath shared), Aesthetic (lighting, scent, sound, the way the collar clicks, the way the wax looks on skin). The difference between a scene and art is almost always presence + pacing.

Make it better by slowing the front half. Most couples rush to the “main event.” The art is in the priming.

How to Lay Out a Scene — A Working Skeleton

Every good outline that works for a sub mentally and physically follows a similar arc. Here is the taste version of the sequence we will expand all month:

1. Arrival / Headspace — collar or cuff as signal. Soft command. “Kneel. Breathe. You are mine now.”
2. Body Prep — rub, pinch, stroke, ready the skin. Warm oil or lotion. “Feel that? That’s Me waking you up.”
3. Collar / Cuffing / Binding — the click or knot that locks the headspace. “This is where you belong.”
4. Position Training — furniture or floor. Hold. Correct. Praise or correct. “Arch. Present. Stay.”
5. Genital Priming (not full sex) — lube, warming/sensitizing or relaxing gel. Open her slowly. Test wetness with fingers or words. “Look how wet you’re getting for Me already… good girl.” Plugs or clamps applied here.
6. The Scene Proper — impact, wax, use, service, whatever the container is. Keep verbal thread alive.
7. Close + Aftercare — unbind, water, blanket, words that return her. “You did so well. Come here.” The art is incomplete without this.

FOUR WEEK OUTLINES — A TASTE

Each week you get one complete, usable skeleton. Steal it, tweak it, make it yours. Full expanded versions (with more language, safety, variations, and Dom notes) come in the weekly articles.

Week 1 — Chair / Furniture Arts Outline

Container: The Chair as Throne / Altar / Restraint

• Headspace: “Sit. No — kneel first. Hands on your thighs. Eyes down until I say.” Collar on while she kneels.
• Body prep: Stand her, rub shoulders → breasts → belly → thighs. Pinch nipples lightly. “Skin waking up for Me.”
• Cuff/position: Seat her, wrists to chair arms or behind. Ankles if desired. “This chair owns you tonight as much as I do.”
• Priming: Spread her on the seat. Lube + warming gel. Fingers only — open, circle, test wetness. “Dripping already and I’ve barely touched you. Plug goes in now.”
• Scene: Use the chair —ally — lean her forward over the back, straddle, oral from below, light impact on thighs while seated. Keep her voice: “Thank you” or counting.
• Close: Uncuff, pull her into your lap, water, “You looked so beautiful owned by that chair.”

Week 2 — Impact Arts Outline

Container: Warm-up → Building Strikes → Peak → Soft Landing

• Headspace: “Present your ass. Hands on the bed/wall/chair. You asked for this.” Collar + optional wrist cuffs.
• Body prep: Rub and warm the target skin thoroughly. Pinch, scratch lightly. “Pink already. Perfect.”
• Priming: While she holds position, reach under — lube, gel, fingers, quick wetness check, optional clamp on nipples or clit. “Stay wet for Me while I paint you.”
• Scene: Hand → implement. Rhythm over power at first. Count or free. Mix with praise and filth: “That’s My good canvas… take it… look how red you get for Me.”

Week 3 — Wax / Temperature Arts Outline

• Body prep + position: Furniture first (chair or edge). Full rub-down while she holds position. Move her as needed.
• Deep priming: Take time. Lube, gel, fingers, tongue if desired, plug, clamps. Multiple wetness checks. “I want you dripping and empty-headed before I even begin the rest.”
• Blended scene: Impact while she sits or bends over furniture → wax on the warmed skin → use or service → back to furniture. Keep one verbal thread the whole time (ownership, kitty, pirate plunder, harvest offering — your choice).
• Close: Unmake her slowly. Water, chocolate, blanket, forehead kiss or filthy praise — whatever returns her. “That was art. You were art.”
