The Ides of March Sinful Confession | Downtime Ritual
March 15. The Ides of March. Full moon rising. Ancient Rome’s day of Jupiter Optimus Maximus, the thunder-wielding king of gods, supreme authority, oaths, justice, and raw power. “Beware the Ides,” they said. We say: bare it all.
This is your annual spiritual downtime ritual. A charged, intimate sinful confession under Jupiter’s gaze. There is no place for repentance or shame, instead pride and passion. HusDOM becomes Jupiter seated on his throne (the downtime chair). subMrs becomes Juno, his queen, devoted, regal, offering sacred vows of desire, edges, and sin.
Sinful Sundays are your weekly anchor: soft aftercare, quiet cuddles, honest whispers. But the Ides hits different, lunar illumination, thunderous authority, mythic weight. It turns confession into erotic ritual. Vulnerability becomes worship. Truths become fuel for darker, hotter scenes.
The Setup – Simple, Potent, Sexy
- Dim lights.
- Use the moonlight, if not available, a white or candle (or selenite/moonstone crystal). Use anything white, silver and or translucent to represent moonlight, place it nearby for extensional lunar energy.
- Soft blanket in a shared space. Downtime area is perfect space.
- Purchase or collect small ritual objects or objects that will represent these items: metallic key,coin, or crystal (Jupiter’s thunder/wealth), oak leaf/acorn (his strength), feather (Juno’s peacock), pomegranate real or representation (her devotion), lily/rose petals/crystal (sacred union). Arrange the objects on a plate place on side table or blanket corner.
- Washable marker, eyeliner, or lipstick for body marks.
- HusDOM sits in his downtime chair, Jupiter embodied: regal posture, commanding calm.
- subMrs approaches, Juno embodied: graceful kneel or bow, eyes up in offering.
No long scripts. Just presence, words, and these intimate touches.
Embodying the Gods – Easy Marks & Objects
Draw small, temporary symbols on each other’s skin (wrist, inner forearm, collarbone, thigh)—slow, teasing strokes to build heat.
- For subMrs (marked by husDOM as Jupiter’s claim):
A thunderbolt, simple zigzag with forks and tip (like a sharp “Z” , a lightning bolt). Or the Jupiter glyph (♃), cross with curved loop.
Place on wrist (his grip) or collarbone (throat edge). - For husDOM (marked by subMrs as her offering):
A crown/diadem, three points with dots/jewels, or minimalist arches. Or stylized peacock feather, central stem with fan lines and eye motif. Place on his wrist, chest, or forearm.
Touch the objects during: husDOM presses his key/coin to her marked skin; subMrs offers her feather to his hand. These tiny anchors make the mythic roles feel possessive and electric.
How It Flows
subMrs chooses her Juno epithet to frame the confession (pick one that burns tonight):
- Juno Regina — “Before you, Jupiter, I your Queen confess…” (loyalty, sovereignty in surrender)
- Juno Lucina — “As Juno who brings light, I bare this craving…” (emerging hidden desires)
- Juno Pronuba — “As Juno of sacred union, I offer this vow…” (devotion, binding commitment)
- Juno Sospita — “As Juno the Savior, I reveal what needs saving…” (pushing edges, preservation through truth)
- Juno Moneta — “As Juno who warns, I confess my limits and hungers…” (guidance, caution turned erotic)
She speaks softly, raw:
“I crave being edged until I break… I want your hand bruising my throat while you deny me… I need you to push me past ‘no’ into subspace…”
HusDOM, Jupiter, listens. No interruption. Full presence. Then:
“Reveal everything, my queen. Offer it to my authority.”
He receives the full honest confession as sacred oath. Holds it, Savors it, and Marks it for his future use.

Responsibility in Taking Confession
There is a responsibility when taking a subMrs confession. She is showing vulnerability and sharing her deepest darkest fantasies. You want to listen and hear her, the way she says them, the way her face looks. You must take the confession and use it. DO NOT take a confession without the intention of using it in your play or scenes. The subMrs is doing this confession in hopes you use it, when you don’t it is taken as a betrayal. Don’t end up like Cesar.
The Payoff
Next scene: he weaves her confession in. Echoes her phrasing. Delivers the thunderbolt she begged for. She sees Jupiter wield her truths, controlled, merciless, protective. Surrender hits harder. Dominance feels mythic. Connection burns darker.

Seize it.
Create the space.
Light the candle/crystal glow.
Draw the marks. Place the objects.
Sit as Jupiter.
Kneel as Juno.
Confess one withheld hunger.
Let him take it. Shape it. Return it as command.
